HP Envy 15 Beats Laptop remastered by Dr Dre
HipHop legend Dr Dre and computer maker HP have combined forces on a new laptop called the HP Envy 15 Beats Limited Edition. It has an enhanced audio features called integrated Beats Audio developed by Dr Dre, Jimmy Iovine and HP computer engineers which enhances the computer’s audio system. The laptop comes in piano black with the signature Beats logo also found on the Beats headphones by Dr. Dre.

When we were growing up in the Philippines back in the 80s the Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes was the cool shoes to wear. If you’re not wearing one then you just out of place. Now fast forward to 2010 and it seems like the boat shoes is coming back into fashion. Pharrell has swapped his regular BBC and/or Ice Cream kicks with a pair of Band of Outsiders X Sperry Top-Siders.

Hot Toys 12″ Berserker Predator
Hot Toys recently released a preview of their soon to distributed “Berserker Predator” based on the new Predators movie. It has superb craftsmanship, highlighting the newly sculpted and painted head and body armour, it has interchangeable mandibles, face mask with LED lights and a full compliment of weapons and accessories.
It should be available soon at your favourite Hot Toys distributors worldwide.

ALL4ONE concert recap…
Those who came of age in the 90s may remember All-4-One, they had a massive hit in 1994 with “I Swear” their recent concert in here in Sydney, to describe it was impressive as well as surprising. Surprising, because we saw a lot of people that wasn’t born at that time or too young that was bopping and singing along with their hit songs. Plus seeing Australian RnB pioneers Kulcha back on stage with special guest Chauncy Black of Blackstreet was astounding.
We guess old school RnB is alive and well and all generations appreciates real RnB. We want to congratulate Marco and the staff of Hoopdreamz and Supreme Entertainment for organising a magnificent event. We can’t wait for the next concert…

Shanghai Apple Store
In New York, Fifth Ave has the Apple Cube, in Sydney the we have an Apple store with interlocking glass facade, in Paris an Apple store with a mixture of historical charm with modern technology and now Apple give us it’s Shanghai Apple store. Inspired by the New York store but instead of a cube the Chinese made it into a cylinder because the Chinese believes circles represent perfection. The actual store is underground with a glass staircase winding down to the shop floor. Don’t you think this makes the Sydney store so plain and simple.

Crooks & Castle‘s first footwear collection. This is Crooks’ first attempt in the shoe game. Not including their collaborations with other brands but this is their first time doing it on their own. The sneakers are simple, one colour, made in canvas, leather and suede. And of course a choice of high tops or low tops. A straight forward classic design that never ages or goes out of fashion. Take note of the RedFoot edition serial number around the heel of the shoes.

Fixed Up Exhibition @ Galeries
Fixed Up is an exhibition of photography, fixed gear bikes and the people behind them. This event is organised by Sydney Sunday Session crew (SSS). There is also a chance to win 1 of 2 fixed gear bikes hand painted by internationally renowned illustrator and tattoo artist Mike Giant and custom built by the SSS crew. This two custom fixed gear bikes are on display at Graniph and Carhartt at The Galeries.
The exhibition will be running from July 4 till August 15. The Galeries is located at 500 George St, Sydney. Just opposite the Queen Victoria Building.
