A few months ago Jeff Staple of Staple Design was approached by Kia Motors USA to do external visual work on the Kia Soul. According to Jeff Staple the Kia Soul has a very unique and innovative interior and exterior design and added to that is the price, it’s friendly in this tough economic times.
He’s inspiration for the Rain Camo design was the Predator alien from the movies and the different animals that uses camouflage to blend into their surroundings. He wanted a car that will camouflage/blend into the New York landscape.
The project is a part of a nationwide campaign in the USA known as The Soul Collective. It’s a celebration of Music, Design, Film and Entrepreneur Spirit. Jeff Staple representing the design part of the collective.
