PLUS.VI.ONE @ the Blackstreet Concert
When Hoopdreamz and Supreme Entertainment invited us to come and watch the King of New Jack Swing tour featuring the legendary BlackStreet we couldn’t say no because; one, we grew up with Blackstreet, specially music produced by Teddy Riley and two, we’ve always supported events organised by Hoopdreamz and Supreme Entertainment.
Blackstreet didn’t dissapoint. Teddy Riley’s excellent music production and combined with Blackstreets own live band, they belted out all their hits in an almost 2 hour oldschool extravaganza taking us back to the era of New Jack Swing.

TEDDY RILEY & BLACKSTREET will be headlining their first Australian Tour this December.
Performing in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, New Zealand, there will be strictly one show only in each city, ensuring that these are the hottest tickets in town.
Teddy Riley and BLACKSTREET will present their unique show, THE KINGS of NEW JACK SWING Tour as well as perform a Michael Jackson tribute, dedicated to the King of Pop.
Teddy Riley is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician and Grammy Award winning producer. He is the founder of the New Jack Swing style of music, which incorporated the fusion of Hip- Hop and R&B in the late 80’s. His musical career began with R&B trio, Guy in the 80’s and then onto BLACKSTREET in the 90’s.
In 1991, he co-produced Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album, which went on to sell 26 million copies. His production work produced smash hits ‘Remember the Time’, ‘Jam’ and ‘In the Closet’. He continued to produce hits for other artists including Bobby Brown (# 1 “My Prerogative”), Wreckx-n-Effect (#2 “Rumpshaker” and “My Cutie”) and Keith Sweat (“Why Me Baby” and “Keep It Comin”). His protégés include Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes
Thrilling fans with a dynamic live band setup, an extravagant light show and a first class set list, there’s no doubt Teddy Riley and BLACKSTREET will set the bar for their forthcoming tour. Ready or not, here they come.
